This lush, wide velvet ribbon is just about everything that a hat maker could dream of. It's wide width means it is perfect for bonnets and other period pieces but would look equally dashing trimming a modern work. 

These vintage velvets date from the 1920's-60's and come from varying manufactures and regions such as France or Switzerland. Each colour will have a different hand and feel and will typically be of Rayon or Nylon fibre content.

Ribbon measures 52mm (2 inches) wide and is sold by the metre (1.09 yards). Multiple metres purchased will arrive as one long continuous piece.
